There is a transition that occurs in Acts chapter eight after the martyrdom of Stephen. Saul, emolden by Stephen’s death, begins to persecute the church with frightening effectiveness. This causes multitudes of believers to flee Jerusalem in fear. Could this persecution be part of God’s plan?
