Leviticus 11:45 states, “For I am the Lord who brings you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God. You shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.” The Apostle Peter quotes from this passage in 1 Peter 1:16 where he writes, “because it is written, ‘Be holy, for I am holy.'” The question for us today is, what then does it mean to be holy?
