Elijah experienced a victory on Mt. Carmel that was three years in the making.  He found himself spiritually on top of the world, but it only took a threat by the evil Queen Jezebel to knock him from his feet and onto his face.  A place of fear, anxiety, depression, and hopelessness.  We can learn from Elijah’s experience the way to deal with the times we find ourselves removed from the mountain and in the valley below.
