In Luke 5:1-11,  Peter has fished all night and caught nothing.  He’s tired, dirty, and ready to get some rest as soon as his nets are cleaned and mended.  But, Jesus has asked Peter to put his net back into the water.  Peter had fished his whole life.  He knew the fish had already gone out into deeper waters and this was time wasted.  Yet, after a brief moment of protest he tells Jesus, “nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net.”  In this message, we take a unique look at this passage and discover how to be prepared for the best God has for us.
