Bought At A Price
Series: general
Morning Devotions Christian Stock ImageThe Bible clearly teaches us in Romans chapter six that who we obey is who we belong to.  If we serve our own selfish desires we belong to sin.  If we are obedient to Christ we belong to God.  Sin gives us the illusion of freedom that, when acted upon, leads to the bondage of fear, doubt, and anxiety. God guarantees us eternal life, but we must understand we were bought at a very high price; the sacrifice of Jesus.  When we belong to God, we are free from our past, free to change, free to live holy, and free of the bondage caused  by sin.  We are not free, however, to live in rebelliousness towards God, to live selfishly, or to mistreat others.

    Hell: It’s Real!
    Series: Win Them Now
Win Them NowSatan has worked tirelessly since Eden to convince mankind there are no consequences for the rejection of God.  He has managed to convince generations hell is a place made up to scare children into behaving and to control the weak minded.  The Bible clearly teaches a place exists right now, where those who reject God will be sent until the final judgment; a place of physical and mental torments.  Once judged, they will be sentenced to the lake of fire prepared for the devil and his angels to spend eternity dying, but unable to find relief.  The good news is, God prepared a way so no one has to spend eternity tormented, but it requires belief in Jesus Christ and submission to Him as Lord of your life.
