In Romans chapter six, the Apostle Paul transitions from justification to sanctification. He reveals there are two types of sanctification, positional and progressive. Positional sanctification happens when we are justified by God and declared holy or set apart from the world and belonging to God.  Progressive sanctification is a an ongoing work in the life of a believer where we learn to obey the Holy Spirit inside of us and live out the internal reality of being holy.  In this message, we look at Romans 6:1-11 and Paul’s explanation of positional sanctification and its importance to believers.
